Seeking your opinions and experiences of lap banding surgery
Researchers from Griffith University, together with the team at Mercy Bariatrics are investigating the outcomes of adjustable gastric banding surgery and how it has affected your life, socially, emotionally, and physically. Our aim is to learn from your experience and find out about any issues that need to be addressed in order to improve the quality of life of people who choose to have lap-banding surgery.
Participants will be asked to complete a short questionnaire, with the option of participating in a telephone interview.

SELF-PERCEPTIONS AND PHYSICAL WELL-BEING AMONG LAP BAND PATIENTS
Researchers from The University of Western Australia together with bariatric surgeon Dr Leon Cohen, urgently require participants for a research investigation looking at how perceptions of oneself change in terms of physical abilities and physical appearance after lap band surgery.
Participants will be asked to complete a series of short questionnaires before, during and after surgery.
